We were fortunate enough to get to spend a few days with Jessica while she was in Valley Springs. Jacob and her had a great time playing together.
On Day One: They played quite a lot of guitar hero and gamecube. They enjoyed a ride in the back of the truck. I believe they even got to sit on some Hay on the way back (awww..cushion). They went Kayaking all by themselves on the lake (unforunately we didn't get any pictures but they really did it). The ended their day by falling asleep to Underdog.
On Day Two: We went to Mercer Caverns. This was so much fun, a little unexpected, but fun. The caves were beautiful. If I remember correctly we conquered 442 (or maybe it was 422) stairs. There were some places where it felt like you were climbing up a ladder. Jessica did great (flip flops and all). Jacob did great (he got a little claustrophobic but he was a trooper. Kept saying "I can do it!" I was very proud of him.) I did great (in my unbiased opinion). But I believe that the gold star for the day has to go to Grandma H. She's not called a "Great Grandma" for nothin'. Unfortunately, Tyler was not able to go down in the Cavern there is NO WAY that Mama could have carried him so he and Grandma Ellen got to bond for a little bit. After the Caves, we headed to the BK and then us three Woolseys made our way home. We had covered a lot of territory in a two week period.
We all had a great time and it was ABSOLUETLY INCREDIBLE, WONDERFULLY GREAT to spend time with Jessica. We love you Jessica!
Here is a little tribute to our time together.
